We’re excited to announce that GHNA is partnering with Pasadena Heritage for this year’s Victorian Weekend, a three-day celebration of architecture, leisure, and life in the Gilded Age. GHNA will be proudly providing docents for the Garfield Heights walking tour, guiding guests through our landmark district and highlighting the neighborhood’s rich architectural evolution—from the Victorian era through the Arts & Crafts movement. The walking tour concludes with refreshments and lawn games at a 1904 American Foursquare home.
Additionally, there will be home tours inside the magnificent Adena Mansion at the corner of Adena and Garfield. The Queen Anne home blends Gothic Revival, Eastlake, and Italianate architectural features. Join us in showcasing the beauty and legacy of Garfield Heights! |

July means its time for our annual neighborhood yard sale! This is GHNA's major annual fundraiser and it takes a village to make this a success. All proceeds go back to GHNA to support community events like the GHNA Holiday Party in December. Start saving your unwanted "treasures" –baby items, toys, decorative items, sporting goods, appliances, furniture, and fabulous boots– for drop off in early July. If you'd like to rent a table for $25 and sell your own items at the yard sale, please text 818-665-6441 or send an email to [email protected]. Wanna help at the sale? Excellent! We will need help on the day with set up (6-8am), clean up (3-4pm), working the sale (8am-3pm), and hanging signs around the neighborhood. We'll be sending out an online sign-up sheet for volunteering about 30 days prior to the event. You are also encouraged to have your own yard sale on this same date to maximize on the increased neighborhood traffic. |
