Join author and humorist Sandra Tsing Loh and theatrical producer Frier McCollister as they welcome you to our tour. You’ll visit five beautiful homes (including three gardens) representing the breadth and diversity of our neighborhood. You’ll not only experience unique architecture, but you’ll meet some of the people and hear some of the stories that make Garfield Heights a remarkable neighborhood. You’ll see the connections between gardens, friendship and food that is the essence of Garfield Heights’ DNA.
GHNA kicks off the holiday season with a cookie exchange and neighborhood artist fair.. Please join your neighbors in one of the most popular annual Garfield Heights traditions.
The total number of bakers participating in the exchange will be shared prior to the event so that you can prepare and bring along a pre=packaged batch of cookies for each.
Since it's a party, please bring a festive beverage and an appetizer to share.
Kids are welcome and a fun activity will be provided for them.
New this year is the addition of a Holiday Art Fair. The Art Committee invites neighborhood artists of all ages to create hand-made artwork to sell at the Cookie Exchange Party. Please watch for more details in the newsletter and our Facebook page.
